Install Office for the first time

  1. On your account page, click Install.

  2. On a PC, click Run.

    On a Mac:

    • Click MicrosoftOffice2011.dmg in the Downloads folder.

    • In the Get Started wizard, click Sign in to an existing Office 365 subscription and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Install Office on another PC or Mac

If you’ve used all your Office installs, you can deactivate one so you can install it on another computer.

  1. On your account page, click Install.

  2. On a PC, click Run.

    On a Mac:

    • Click MicrosoftOffice2011.dmg in the Downloads folder.

    • In the Get Started wizard, click Sign in to an existing Office 365 subscription and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Can't find Office in Windows 8?

In Windows 8, type an application name on the Start screen.
