Description The Initials field shows the abbreviation for a resource name.
Best Uses Add the Initials field to a resource view when you want to display, filter, or edit the initials for resource names.
Example You enter a resource's first and last name in the Name field, but in some sheets, you prefer to use resource initials rather than names to fit more columns in your view. In the Initials field in the Resource Sheet view, you type the initials you want to use for each resource.
Remarks The default for the Initials field is the first letter of the resource name.
