From any browser on any device, easily sign in to OneNote Online so you always have access to your notes.

  1. Sign in to with your Microsoft account, or work or school account.

  2. Select OneNote.

  3. Select the notebook that you want to open.

  4. Work in your notebook just like you do in the OneNote app on your desktop or mobile device. In OneNote Online, you can:

    • Add sections or pages

    • Add notes and format them

    • Insert pictures, tables, or links

    • Draw or handwrite notes

    • Share your notes with others

No matter where you are, or what device you use, you always have access to your notes with OneNote Online.

In a web browser, sign in to and select OneNote.

Then, select the notebook you want to open.

In OneNote Online, you have many of the same features as the full-featured OneNote apps on your computer or mobile device.

You can add new sections or pages to organize your notebook.

Click anywhere on the page to start adding notes and format them.

From the Insert tab, add pictures, tables, or links.

And from the Draw tab you can draw or even handwrite notes.

Just like in the full versions of OneNote, OneNote Online saves your notes automatically.

And when you're ready to Share your notebook to collaborate, select Share to invite others to view or edit your notes.
