I don’t want all the email from my different email addresses to go into the same inbox. Can I change which folder email is delivered to in Outlook.com Premium?
Yes, if you don’t want all the email from your different email addresses to go into the same inbox, you can automatically move email from your different email addresses to different folders:
Create new folders for each email address that you would like to re-direct in Outlook.com by selecting the Create new folder + icon in the Folders menu bar in the left pane (the + icon appears when you hover over the pane).
Create a separate rule for each email address that re-directs all incoming email sent to that email address to the appropriate folder (for example, “Inbox – contoso.com”) by selecting Settings > Options, and select Mail > Automatic processing > Inbox and sweep rules.
Select the Add + icon under Inbox rules.
Enter a name for the rule (for example, “Inbox – Gmail.com” or “Inbox – Contoso.com”).
In the drop-down menu below When the message arrives, and it matches all of these conditions, select It was sent or received > Sent to…. Add the email address for the rule.
In the drop-down menu below Do all of the following, select Move, copy, or delete > Move the message to folder… and select the appropriate folder (for example, “Inbox – Gmail.com” or “Inbox – Contoso.com”).
Select OK to save the rule, then select Save to save the mailbox settings.
