Sidebar is hidden once Outlook for Mac window is resized to the minimum width

Last Updated: November 20, 2018

When you open Outlook for Mac, the Sidebar does not display and you will not see your folders.

This can occur when you shrink the Outlook for Mac window and the Sidebar auto hides. To show the Sidebar again, do one of the following:

  • On the View menu, make sure the Sidebar option is checked.

  • Place the mouse cursor to the far left of the message list and drag to the right to expand it to reveal the Sidebar again.
