Show the Text pane to add or edit text in your SmartArt graphic, or hide the Text pane to see more of your document, worksheet, or presentation while you work on a SmartArt graphic.

  1. Click the SmartArt graphic.

  2. Click the Design tab, and then click Text Pane.

Tips    

  • You can close the Text pane by clicking Close in the upper-right corner of the Text pane.

  • You can show the Text pane by clicking the control.

  • You can resize or move the Text pane.

  1. Click the SmartArt graphic.

  2. Under SmartArt Tools, on the Design tab, in the Create Graphic group, click Text Pane.
