Logs are detailed information about the different processes used by an application. Your technical support team can enable Lync Web App to log information about its processes. If you run into trouble using Lync Web App and can’t figure out what’s wrong, you can save the logs and send them to the technical support team in your company or to Microsoft Technical Support.
To save the logs:
Make sure that the Lync Web App window is open and press the F9 key.
Select all the information in the window that opens and press CTRL+C to copy it.
Open a text editor such as Notepad, and press CTRL+V to paste the copied log text.
Save the text file with a descriptive name.
Note: The logs can be read using any text editor, such as Notepad.
