How to reinstall Office 2013 after upgrading to Office 2016

For Microsoft 365 subscriptions

  • Since February 28, 2017, you can no longer download and install Office 2013 as part of your Microsoft 365 subscription from My Account. For more information, or you need to reinstall Office 2013 because of incompatibility issues, see Office 2013 is no longer available for installation with a Microsoft 365 subscription.

    To ensure the security of your Office suite and to get all of the latest features, use Office 2016 for free as part of your Microsoft 365 subscription.

For one-time purchase of Office, such as Office Home & Student or Office Home & Business

  1. Uninstall Office 2016. See Uninstall Office 2016 from your PC.

  2. Reinstall Office 2013. See Download and install or reinstall Office 2013.
