Re-layout a diagram in Visio for the web

Easily reposition shapes in a diagram by choosing from a gallery of layouts with the following patterns: Flowchart, Compact, Tree, Radial, or Circular.

  1. Create the diagram for editing.

  2. Optionally, select a portion of the diagram that you want to change. Otherwise, the entire diagram is changed.

  3. Select Design > Layout The Layout icon .

  4. Select a pattern from the gallery.

  5. If you don’t like the results, press CTRL+Z, and then try a different pattern.
