Print a report

To quickly print a report in Access, right-click the report in the Navigation Pane, and click Print. The report is sent to your default printer.

If you select the report in the Navigation Pane and then click File > Print, the Print dialog box appears, in which you can set a number of printing options, such as the page range, number of copies, and which printer to use.

Preview your report before printing

To make sure everything looks just right before you send it to the printer, you can preview your report.

  1. Right-click the report in the Navigation Pane.

  2. Click Print Preview.

You can use the commands on the Print Preview tab to do any of the following:

  • Print the report

  • Adjust page size or layout

  • Zoom in or out, or view multiple pages at a time

  • Refresh the data on the report

  • Export the report to another file format

  • Click Print, and then click Close Print Preview.
