Planning Wizard

Trying to link with only one task selected

The Planning Wizard appears when you clicked the Link Tasks command with only one task selected.

To link tasks, select two or more tasks, and then click Link Tasks Button image . Project will link the tasks so that the task with the later start date will begin as soon as the earlier task is completed.

The Link Tasks command creates finish-to-start task dependencies between two or more tasks. If one task is dependent on another, you can link them so that the later task will begin as soon as the earlier task is completed. By linking tasks, you can see how changes in the start, finish, and duration of a task affect other dependent tasks.

If you don't want the Planning Wizard to display this information again, select the Don't tell me about this again check box.
