Language settings for Microsoft Forms

Tip: Try Microsoft Forms to create a survey, quiz, or poll.

A form created in Microsoft Forms will automatically open in the language set by default in your browser. Select the browser you're using in the tabs below, then follow the instructions to change your language preference:

To check and change your language settings in Internet Explorer 11, do the following:

  1. Click the Tools icon in the top right corner of Internet Explorer.

  2. Click Internet Options.

  3. On the General tab, click the Languages button.

  4. In the Languages Preference window, click Set Language Preferences.

  5. In the Language window, click Advanced settings.

  6. In the Advanced settings window, go to the Language for web content section and uncheck Don't let websites access my language list. The language of my date, time, and number formatting will be used instead.

  7. Click Save.

To check and change your language settings in Microsoft Edge (for Windows 10 and Windows 8), do the following:

  1. From the Start menu, search for Control Panel, and open Control Panel.

  2. Under Clock, Language, and Region, click Change input methods.

    Note: If you don't see Clock, Language, and Region, click Category in the View by menu at the top of the page.

  3. Optional: Click Add a language to add a new language. Select the language you want to add, and click Add.

  4. Select your language, click Options, and then click Add an input method to add the input language you want. The default input language will be the first language in your language list.
