Notes:

  • We're always working to make Outlook on the web better. Our top priority is to make it easy to use, responsive, and accessible for people of all abilities.

  • If you have requests for specific functionality, see How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office? to learn how to share your thoughts. We're listening.

Navigate the feature areas in Outlook on the web

Outlook on the web lets you navigate by using Ctrl+F6 to skip from one feature to another, such as the Toolbar or the Inbox. No matter which feature you are in, you can press Ctrl+F6 to move to the top of the next feature.

CTRL+F6 cycles through the features in order, just like a Tab key moves to tab stops. The order of feature areas is: Microsoft 365 app launcher, Search box, Folders navigation pane, Toolbar, Inbox, and Reading pane.

Keyboard shortcuts for Outlook on the web

For a list of all keyboard shortcuts in Outlook, you can type a question mark (?) from anywhere in the app. This opens a webpage that lists the shortcuts.

Find more in Keyboard shortcuts for Outlook.
