Get insights into what you're working on with Smart Lookup

Select a word or phrase, right-click it, and choose Smart Lookup. If you're on a touch device, like an iOS or Android device, double-tap the word to select it and then tap Smart Lookup or Smart Lookup .

The insights pane will open with more information about that word or phrase, including definitions, Wikipedia articles, and top related searches from the web.

The Smart Lookup feature debuted with Office 2016 and has improved greatly with Microsoft 365.
