Description     The Subproject Read Only field indicates whether the subproject of this task is a read-only project.

Best Uses     Add the Subproject Read Only field to a task sheet when you have several subprojects in your project and you want to review and set whether they are read only. Click Yes in the Subproject Read Only field if you want to ensure that the subproject information is not changed when being opened and read from within the master project. Click No in the Subproject Read Only field if you want to be able to change subproject information from within the master project.

Example     You're the originator of a master project that will be made available to others in your group. To ensure that the subproject will not be changed when viewed by others, click Yes in the Subproject Read Only field.

Remarks     If you're the originator of the subproject, you can change whether the subproject is read only in the Inserted Project Information dialog box.
