Use this dialog box to prevent changes to your document.
Protect
Styles
Prevents users from creating and editing styles, although they can still apply styles.
Shapes
If From Selection is also selected in the Protection dialog box, prevents users from selecting shapes.
Preview
Prevents changes to the file's preview image. If this box is selected and you make changes to your pages, the file's preview will not be updated. If you open a copy of a file, the preview will not be protected in the copy.
Backgrounds
Prevents users from deleting or editing background pages.
Master shapes
Prevents users from creating, editing, or deleting masters, although they can still create instances of masters.
