You can delete folders you create in Outlook.com. When you delete a folder, all the messages in the folder are deleted as well.

If you can't see your email folders, check that the folders aren't collapsed. Select > Folders to expand the folder list.

There is an ongoing issue where some folders might no longer be visible in the Folders list. You can find items saved within the missing folders by using search. We're aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
Delete a folder
Note: You can't delete default folders such as Inbox and Sent Items.

In the left pane, right-click the folder or subfolder you want to delete and select Delete folder > OK.
Deleted Items folder
When you delete a message, it’s moved to the Deleted Items folder. You can either manually remove messages from the folder or you can set Outlook.com to automatically empty your Deleted Items folder when you sign out.

At the top of the page, select Settings
> View all Outlook settings. -
Select Mail > Message handling.

Under Message options, select the check box next to Empty my deleted items folder.
