Change line spacing

Change the line spacing for your entire document, or just part of your document, to make it look the way you want.

Change line spacing for the entire document

  1. Select Design > Paragraph Spacing.

  2. Hover the cursor over each option to see a preview, and then select the option you want.

    The Paragraph Spacing options are shown on the Design tab.

    For single space, select No Paragraph Space.

Change line spacing for part of your document

  1. Select the paragraphs you want to change.

  2. Select Home > Line and Paragraph Spacing, and choose the amount of space you want.

    The Line and Paragraph Spacing options are shown on the Home tab.
