Call a phone number from Teams

To dial a number from Teams, go to Calls Calls button , click Dial a number, and then enter the number of the person you want to reach. This way you can contact anyone, even if they're outside your organization.

In the Calls Calls button area, you can also access favorite and suggested contacts, listen to your voicemail, and check your call history.

Note: If you don't see Calls Calls button in Teams, that means you don't have an Enterprise Voice license as part of your Office 365 subscription, and making calls to external numbers isn't available to you yet.

To make a call, tap Calls Calls button > Dial pad Dial pad button and enter a phone number. If you’ve enabled the setting to allow access to your phone contacts, tap Calls Calls button > Contacts Contacts button on mobile devices and select a contact.

Note: You need an Enterprise Voice license as part of your Office 365 subscription in order to call phone numbers from Teams.

Go to the desktop or web app to call a phone number.

To call a phone number (PSTN) from the Surface Hub, touch Call Calls button from the welcome screen, and then tap Dial Pad.

Once you’ve accessed the dial pad, just enter the number you want to call.
