Restrictions and limitations

The types of documents you can add to a Documents tool may be restricted in the following ways:

  • SharePoint workspaces: Although you can add any type of document to a document library in a SharePoint workspace, the associated SharePoint site may not support synchronizing all documents types. As a result, you may receive synchronization errors related to unsupported document types.

  • Groove w orkspaces: In a Documents tool in a Groove workspace, management policies may restrict certain document types. SharePoint Workspace will post an error message if you attempt to add restricted document types.

To view a list of restricted document types, click View restricted types on the Security tab of account preferences.
