You can add a picture to any page in OneNote for Windows 10.

Your browser does not support video. Install Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Flash Player, or Internet Explorer 9.

Insert a picture from your computer

  1. Select Insert > Pictures > From File.

  2. Select the picture you want to add, and select Open.

Tip: If you don't see the picture you're looking for, you can sort by name, change the location, or go up in the folder structure. Select the arrows next to the headings in the box to navigate to your file.

Insert a picture from your camera

If you have a tablet with a camera, it's easy to take photos and insert them directly into OneNote.

  1. Select Insert > Pictures > From Camera.

    Your device's camera will open.

  2. Depending on what device you're using, you may be able to make some simple edits before you insert your photo. Once you're done, your photo will be inserted directly into your page.

Insert an online picture

If you don't have the perfect picture on your computer, try inserting one from an online source, such as Bing.

  1. Select Insert > Pictures > From Online.

The Online Pictures pane will open.

  2. In the Search box, type a word or phrase that describes the picture you want, and then press Search. You can include words such as clip art in your search phrase if you are specifically looking for that kind of picture.

  3. Click the picture you want to insert it on your page.
