Hello,

You have multiple accounts
Choose the account you want to sign in with.

We use our personal schedules to keep track of more than just our own appointments and plans. We also use them to track school events, team schedules, and other activities. Instead of adding those events each time yourself, you can add them more easily by connecting your account to automatically receive calendar events for birthday, professional sports teams, and even television shows.

Notes:

  • The calendars and options that are available will vary based on your location. If the calendar you're looking for isn't available following the instructions below, see Import or subscribe to a calendar in Outlook on the web to get information about adding other calendars.

  • The ability to Add your Teamsnap account to see your calendars no longer works using Outlook on the web and Outlook.com. To continue to see your Teamsnap team calendars, you will need to export the Team calendar using Teamsnap and import those calendars as .ICS calendars using the "Subscribe from web" feature.

You can connect one Outlook.com or Google account to your work or school account. This lets you view and manage the personal calendars in that account even when you're signed in to your work or school account. It also lets you include your personal calendar in your availability for people who are scheduling events with you. For more information about managing your personal calendars in your work or school account, see Show personal events on your work or school calendar.

To add a personal account:

  1. In Outlook on the web, go to Calendar Calendar and select Add calendar.

  2. Select Add personal calendars, then choose a personal account to add. Enter your account's credentials.

  3. You'll see a message that tells you your account is being connected or that you need to authenticate that account. After the connection is complete, you'll see that your account has been connected and your personal events now affect your work or school availability.

  4. After you close the Add personal calendars window, you'll see your connected account in the navigation pane in Calendar.

After you've added a calendar, you can go to your calendar list and change the color or add a charm by using the More More options icon menu next to the calendar.

Note: Adding a personal calendar doesn't give you access to email from your personal account. It adds only your calendar and adds it only to Outlook on the web.

To remove the connection between your personal calendar and your work or school account:

  1. In Outlook on the web, select Calendar Calendar > Add calendarAdd personal calendars.

  2. Select Remove. Your personal calendar will be disconnected from your work or school account immediately.

To edit one of your existing calendars:

  1. In Outlook on the web, select Calendar CalendarAdd calendar>Edit my calendars.

  2. Choose the calendar you want to edit from the list.

  3. Give your calendar a name.

  4. Customize your calendar with a color, a charm, or both.

  5. Optional: Share your calendar. For more information, see Share your calendar in Outlook on the web.

  6. Select Save.

To create a new calendar:

  1. In Outlook on the web, select Calendar CalendarAdd calendar>Create new calendar.

  2. Give your calendar a name.

  3. Customize your calendar with a color, a charm, or both.

  4. Optional: Add your calendar to an existing calendar group. For more information about calendar groups, see Working with multiple calendars in Outlook on the web.

Add a birthday calendar

Outlook on the web can use information from your contacts to track birthdays. To learn more, see Add a birthday calendar in Outlook on the web.

To add the calendar for a person, group, or resource from your organization's directory to view the associated calendar:

  1. In Outlook on the web, select Calendar CalendarAdd calendar> Add a person's calendar.

  2. Type the name of the person, group, or resource.

  3. Select Save.

Note: You can only add the calendar for a person, group, or resource to your work or school account.

In Outlook on the web, you can import events from an .ics file to your existing calendar or subscribe to a calendar online and receive automatic updates (known as an ICS subscription or an iCal subscription). You can import calendars from websites or calendar programs that support the .ics file format, such as Apple iCal, Google Calendar, and Mozilla Lightning.

You can search the internet for lists of iCals. Websites for theaters, sports teams, and schools often have an "Add to calendar" link that you can use to download an iCal. Bing also has suggestions for calendars.

Note: Microsoft isn't responsible for the accuracy or content of any third-party calendars. We recommend that you review the terms and conditions before importing or subscribing to any third-party calendars.

For information about how to subscribe to or upload a calendar from a file, see Import or subscribe to a calendar in Outlook on the web.
