Why Do I Need to Sign In Again?

If you are signed in remotely to Communicator Web Access, the system may sign you out after a period of inactivity. If you are using a public computer, Communicator Web Access will, by default, automatically terminate your session after 15 minutes of inactivity. That way, anyone using the computer after you will not have access to your instant messaging session or sign-in information. If you are using a private computer, by default, you will be signed out after 12 hours of inactivity.

Alternatively, your session might be terminated because of server issues or a loss of network connectivity.

If your session ends abruptly for any reason, you will need to sign in again. To sign in again, enter your sign-in name and, if prompted, enter your domain credentials and password.
