Where to sign in to Office 365 for business

Sign in to Office with the account that's associated with your Office 365 subscription, or your one-time purchase of Office 2016 or Office 2013. This account might be a personal Microsoft account, like an Outlook.com account, Hotmail.com account, Gmail account, etc. Or it might be the username and password that you use with your work or school account.

Where do I sign in?

Sign in at: www.office.com/signin

Note:
For Office 365 operated by 21Vianet in China, sign in with your work or school account at https://login.partner.microsoftonline.cn.
For Office 365 Germany, sign in with your work or school account at https://portal.office.de.

If you're already signed in with one account, for example, you're signed in with a Microsoft account and you want to sign in with a work or school account instead, or vice versa, do the following:

  • Sign out of the account you're signed in with, and then sign in with the new account. Or,

  • Open a private browsing session in a new browser window. See your browser's help for how to do this.

What if my password doesn't work or I still can’t sign in?

Microsoft has more than one kind of Office 365 plan so if you still can’t sign in, try the following support options specific to your Office product. For a list of what products are included under the different plans, see Office for home and Office for business plans.

Notes: You can associate a work or school account or third party account (like Gmail or Yahoo) with a Microsoft account*, but using such an account is a less common way of signing in to Office 365 for business.
