  1. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, open the folder containing files you want to view.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.

  3. To view all hidden file types, click the Show hidden files and folders option.

  4. To see all file name extensions, clear the Hide file extensions for known file types check box.

  5. Click the Apply button.
