Update my photo and account information in Outlook Web App

You can use the Outlook Web App  My account page to view or update your photo and contact information:

  1. In a web browser, sign in to Outlook Web App using the URL provided by the person who manages email for your organization. Enter your user name and password, and then click Sign in.

  2. At the top of the page, choose Outlook (or Mail). Or, choose the app launcher Office 365 app launcher icon > Mail.

  3. At the top of the page, select Settings Settings: update your profile, install software and connect it to the cloud > Options, and then select one of the following:

    • Account


    • General > My account

Edit your account information

Depending on the settings you see, you may have to select Edit information to add or change your account information.

The information you enter here will appear in your organization’s address book. After you’ve finished updating your information, select Save to save your changes or Cancel to leave the account information without saving any changes.

Edit your photo

  1. To add or change your photo, select Change or Change photo Add or edit your photo on the My Account page .

  2. Select Choose file or Choose photo Browse for a photo to use on your My Account page to look for the picture you want, and then select Open.

  3. Select Save to save your change or Cancel to remove it.

What else do I need to know?

  • You can only use a photo from your computer or from a network share that’s linked to your computer.

  • You can use a photo or other image that’s up to 500 kilobytes (KB) in size.

Change password

The My account page includes a link to change your password. It may be the case that your organization doesn’t allow you to change your password on this site. If so, ask your admin for help changing your password.
