Unassigned Application Contacts

In the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 console tree, the Unassigned Application Contacts node lists all application Contact objects in the forest that are not assigned to a valid application instance. Application Contact objects can become unassigned if you remove an application without first deactivating the application, or if you deactivate and remove an application using an account that does not have read/write permissions to the organizational unit (OU) that contains the application Contact object.
