  1. Go to products.office.com/try for your free Office 365 for home trial.

  2. Choose Try 1-month free.

  3. Sign in with your Microsoft Account or create one if you haven't yet.

    Note: Keep your sign-in info in a safe place since you'll need this to access your trial subscription later.

  4. Type in your billing info.

    Note: You won't be charged for the free trial as long as you turn off auto-renew to cancel within the next 30 days.

  5. Choose Save.

  6. Choose Purchase to confirm your free trial.

  7. Choose Continue to go to your office.com/MyAccount page.

    Note: If you'd like to cancel your trial before it ends, choose Manage account to turn off auto-renew.

Fill out the billing information,

choose Save,

and then choose Purchase to confirm.

Your free trial is now ready.

Choose Continue to visit your office.com/MyAccount page for the first time.

If you decide to cancel before your trial ends, choose Manage account and turn off auto-renew so you're not billed anything.

Now, you'll want to download and install Office,

share your subscription with up to four people in your household,

and start exploring popular Office apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
