Set up your iCloud mail in Outlook for iOS or Android

This article shows you how to set up your iCloud email account on your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet.

If you haven't installed the app yet, or to set up another type of email account, see Outlook for iOS and Android install and set up.

Set up your account

  1. After you've installed the Outlook app, tap to open it on your device.

  2. Tap Add An Account on iOS or Get Started on Android.

  3. Select iCloud.

  4. Follow the prompts and enter your full email address, for example someone@icloud.com.

  5. Type your password, and then tap Sign in.

    If you get a time-out message, your password or other information might be incorrect. Retype the information, and then try again.

  6. Tap Yes to let the app access your info. Outlook begins syncing your data right after it connects to your account.

Tip: You might need to follow the procedures for two-step authentication for your iCloud account. See the steps here for more information.

Add additional accounts

You can add additional accounts in Outlook, so that you can access them all in one place.

  1. Open the app and go to Settings > +Add Account.

  2. Select your account type and follow the procedures in the previous section to add the new account.
