This topic describes how to set up or check your audio and video devices for a Microsoft Lync 2010 meeting.

Set up audio and video devices before the meeting

To set up your audio and video before the meeting, do the following:

  1. In the Lync main window, click the Options button Options arrow.

  2. In the Lync – Options dialog box, click Audio Device, verify that the correct device is selected, and then click the Check Call Quality button to test the device.

  3. Click Video Device, and then verify that your camera is working correctly.

  4. Click OK.

Check audio and video devices during the meeting

To check your audio and video during the meeting, do the following:

  1. In the conversation window, click Settings, and then click Set Up Audio and Video.

  2. Click Audio Device, verify that the correct device is selected, and then click the Check Call Quality button to test the device.

  3. Click Video Device, and then verify that your camera is working correctly.

  4. Click OK.
