Save a presentation in Rich Text Format (RTF)
If you frequently share presentations with others via e-mail, a disk, or a Web directory, you might want to save your presentations as Rich Text Format (RTF) files. Presentations that you save as RTF files have smaller file sizes, look like and print exactly as the original, and provide security by not containing or transmitting most macro or viruses.
RTF files contain only text. RTF files do not contain other content, such as pictures, clip art, shapes, or SmartArt graphics.
Click the File tab
Click Save As.
In the Save As dialog box, do the following, in the File name box, type a file name, or do nothing to accept the suggested file name.
In the Save as type list, select Outline/RTF, and then click Save.
