Run more effective meetings with Lync

Learn how you can use Skype for Business to connect with others and run effective meetings, while saving time and resources.

  1. Add a contact in Skype for Business    

    Add people to your contacts list, so you can reach them quickly.

  2. Send an IM in Skype for Business    

    Check to see if someone’s available and quickly start a chat session. You can then invite others to the conversation if you want.

  3. Set up a Skype for Business meeting in Outlook    

    Use Outlook or Outlook Web App to schedule a Lync Meeting with people inside or outside your company.

  4. Join a Skype for Business meeting    

    Join a meeting with Skype for Business from anywhere, such as an airport, a coffee shop, your hotel, or your mobile device when you’re on the road.

  5. Skype for Business recording, save, and publish    

    You can manage your recorded meetings by renaming or moving them. You can also choose what to include in the recording, such as instant messages, participant or panoramic video.
