Remove a page break

Word automatically inserts a page break when you reach the end of a page. You cannot remove automatic page breaks.

If you want the page to break in a different place, you can insert a manual page break. You can remove page breaks that you insert in a document manually. For information about inserting manual page breaks, see Insert a page break.

If you are experiencing page breaks that occur in unexpected or unwanted locations, see the Troubleshooting guide for unwanted page breaks.
