Remove a hyperlink

You type a website address in your email message, and Outlook creates a hyperlink. But you don’t want people jumping away from your message before they’ve read the whole thing, so you need to remove the hyperlink but keep the text.

To do so, right-click the hyperlink, and then click Remove Hyperlink.

Right click menu, Remove Hyperlink

If you change your mind and want the hyperlink back, you can always insert a hyperlink. And if you want, you can stop text from turning into a hyperlink.
