Remove Contacts or Groups

With Office Communicator you can remove a contact from a group, groups, or entirely from the Contact List. You can also remove entire groups, or selected members of a group from the Contact List.

Remove a contact from a group or the Contact List

  • To remove a contact from a group, expand the group in the Contact List, right-click the contact, and then click Remove from Group.

  • To remove a contact from the Contact List, right-click the contact in the Contact List, and then click Remove from Contact List.

Remove multiple members from a group or the Contact List

  • To remove multiple contacts from a group, hold down the CTRL key and select the contacts you want to delete. Right-click the last contact you want to select, and then click Remove from Group.

  • To remove multiple contacts from the Contact List, hold down the CTRL key and select the contacts you want to delete. Right-click the last contact and then click Remove from Contact List.

Delete a group from the Contact List

  • In the Contact List, right-click the group you want to delete, and then click Delete Group.
