Phone and tablet setup reference

Stay connected on-the-go by using your phone, tablet, or other mobile device to access email, calendar, contacts, and more.

If you want to sync email, calendar, and contacts, your device must be compatible with Exchange ActiveSync (also referred to as Exchange email). Most mobile devices support Exchange ActiveSync, but if yours doesn't, you can use IMAP or POP to sync just your email.

Note: Using IMAP or POP to set up your email account means only your email will sync to your device. You will not sync calendar or contacts.
