Before you install or reinstall Office or any single, standalone Office app, it might help to know if your product is part of an Office for home plan or an Office for business plan.

The section below shows what plan your Microsoft 365 or one-time purchase of Office 2021, 2019, 2016, or 2013 product belongs to.

Office for home products usually require a Microsoft account. Office for business products are often associated with the work or school email account your Microsoft 365 admin assigned to you.

Need to compare plans or get pricing details? If you haven't purchased an Office product yet or you'd like to compare what apps or services are included in the different products, see Office products.
