Notes went missing in OneNote 2010

After signing in to OneNote 2010, you may experience the following:

  • your notes are missing and cannot be retrieved from OneDrive.

  • you receive the message "There are no sections open in this notebook or section group. Click here to create a new section."

Status: Fixed

This has been fixed with the update released on 08/19. To get the update immediately, open OneNote and click File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
