Modify fixed asset records

Available in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2008 only.

To modify your fixed asset records, open the Fixed Asset form. On the form, you can add or edit information, or you can dispose of an asset.

  1. On the Fixed Assets menu, click Fixed Asset Manager.

  2. On the Fixed Asset List, right-click the asset that you want to modify, and then click Open Selected Items.

  3. Edit information or details on the Fixed Asset form.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • To save changes on the form, click Save and Close.

    • To create a new fixed asset, click Save and New.
