The Track view on the Marketing Campaign form helps you measure and evaluate the response to your Marketing Campaign.
Total leads Shows the number of leads that you gained as a result of your Marketing Campaign. To have a lead added to the total, you must link it with this Marketing Campaign in the Source information section on the Business Contact form.
Total opportunities Shows the number of Opportunities that you created as a result of your Marketing Campaign. To have an opportunity added to the total, you must link it with this Marketing Campaign in the Source information section of the Opportunities form.
Total accounts Shows the number of Accounts that you gained as a result of your Marketing Campaign. To have an Account added to the total, you must link it to this Marketing Campaign in the Source information section of the Accounts form.
Total contacts Shows the number of Business Contacts that you added as a result of your Marketing Campaign. To have a Business Contact added to the total, in the Source information section of the Business Contact form, in the Source list, select E-mail Campaign, and in the Initiated By list, select the specific Marketing Campaign.
Note: To run a report based on any result, click Show Report.
Campaign delivery information
Actual cost Type the actual final cost of the Marketing Campaign.
Recipients The list of recipients is automatically generated from the Recipient list that you specified when you created the Marketing Campaign, and includes e-mail addresses (if you sent e-mail), and delivery status.
Note: Recipient lists are only displayed for Direct Mail , Print, or E-mail Marketing Campaign types.
E-Mail Marketing Service tracking results
Important: Service Closure Notice Microsoft will discontinue the E-mail Marketing Service effective May 1, 2009, but you can continue to use the service until May 1, 2009.
If you used the E-Mail Marketing Service to generate your recipient list, you receive additional tracking information.
Number Not Sent Shows the number of e-mail messages that were not sent.
Number of Bounces Shows the number of e-mail messages that were not delivered because of an incomplete, incorrect, or blocked e-mail address.
Number of Unsubscribes Shows the number of recipients who unsubscribed from your recipient list.
Number of Clicks Shows the number of links that were clicked by the recipients, in the sent messages.
Number of Replies Shows the number of replies received.
Note: This is part of the process of creating and tracking a Marketing Campaign in Business Contact Manager for Outlook. To create a Marketing Campaign, on the Business Contact Manager menu, click Marketing Campaign, and then click New.
