The Manage Database dialog box has two tabs.
You can use the Backup/Restore tab to back up, restore, or check your database for errors.
The Other Databases tab displays all your Business Contact Manager databases. If you are the database owner, you can delete a database from this tab, unless it is the only database in the list.
The Backup/Restore tab
Back Up Database Creates a backup file copy to protect your business data against loss. Before uninstalling Business Contact Manager for Outlook, you should back up your files so you can restore your business data if you later reinstall.
Restore Database Restores your database to an earlier version, which protects your data against loss. If you uninstall Business Contact Manager for Outlook and later want to reinstall it, you can use your backup files to restore your business data.
Check for Errors Performs TE000129525 of your database for more efficient performance, and checks for errors.
Note: If you are not the database owner, these buttons will appear dimmed, which means these options are unavailable.
The Other Databases tab
This tab lists any additional Business Contact Manager databases you have access to. Information about a database includes whether the database is shared, and who the database owner is.
Delete Database If you are the database owner, you can delete the database by selecting it, and then clicking Delete Database.
Note: If you are not the database owner, or if the database is the only one in the list, these buttons will appear dimmed, which means this option is unavailable.
Note: This page is part of the Database Management wizard. To access this wizard, on the Business Contact Manager menu, point to Database Tools, and then click Manage Database.
