Adjust the line spacing between text or paragraphs In Word 2013. Take this quick course to learn more, and then try it yourself.

Adjust line spacing (1:07)
You can adjust the line spacing in a paragraph to be more tight, or more open. Place your cursor in the paragraph, and click Home > Line and Paragraph Spacing.
Set paragraph spacing (1:40)
To adjust the spacing that comes before or after a paragraph, place your cursor in the paragraph that you want to adjust, and click Home > Paragraph Settings.
Adjust document spacing (1:33)
To adjust the spacing throughout a document, click Design > Paragraph Spacing. And under Built-In, point to the various options for a preview of what’s available.
