Install the Generic Color PS for Commercial Printing printer driver

Microsoft Office Publisher includes a PostScriptTE000128406 called Generic Color PS for Commercial Printing. Use this printer driver to create PostScript files for commercial printing.

Generic Color PS for Commercial Printing is not automatically installed on your system when you install Publisher. You must install it manually.

  1. On the Start menu, click Printers and Faxes.

  2. Under Printer Tasks, click Add a printer.

  3. In the Add Printer Wizard, click Next.

  4. On the Local or Network Printer page, click Local printer attached to this computer, and then make sure that the Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer check box is cleared.

  5. Click Next.

  6. On the Select a Printer Port page, keep the default selection (LPT1) and click Next.

  7. On the Install Printer Software page, click Have Disk.

  8. In the Install From Disk dialog box, click Browse, and then navigate to \Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12 on the drive where you have installed Publisher.

  9. Select the file MSCOL11.INF, click Open, and then click OK.

  10. Click Next, and follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

Microsoft Windows XP installs the printer driver Generic Color PS for Commercial Printing.
