Insert the current date and time on a page in OneNote Online

Whenever you create a new page in any of your OneNote notebooks, a date and time stamp is automatically added to the page. However, there may be times when you also want to insert the current date and time in your notes, for example, to mark text or track chronological events, such as a log of phone calls or entries in a blog or journal.

You can manually type the current date and time in OneNote Online, but if you'd like add dates and times in one step, you'll need to use the OneNote desktop app. For detailed steps about how to do this in OneNote 2016, see Insert the current date and time on a page.
