I can't add vertical text to a message

Cause: Outlook doesn't support vertical text.

Solution:    For e-mail messages, you can create a document in Microsoft Word that contains vertical text, and then attach the document to a message.

  1. Open a document in Word, and then add the vertical text.

  2. When you finish, save the document on your computer.

  3. In Outlook, create a message, and then on the Message tab, click Attach.

      Meeting tab, group 5

  4. Locate the Word document, and then click Choose.

  5. Compose your message, and then on the Message tab, click Send.
