How to check Office 365 service health

  1. Sign in with your Office 365 admin account at https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home.

  2. In the Office 365 admin center, go to Health > Service health.

    Tip: Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business admins need to be assigned to the Service Health admin role so they can view the health of their services.

  3. View the current health of your services. If you want, choose the arrow to read past messages about an incident.

    Choose the arrow to see more details about a service incident.

  4. To view past health of a service, choose View history. Choose a date to read the incident messages.

    Choose the date you're interested in researching.

Learn about planned maintenance

  1. Sign in with your Office 365 admin account at https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home.

  2. In the Office 365 admin center, go to the Message center.

  3. In the Views drop-down box, choose Plan for change.

    Sort messages by Plan for change.

  4. Choose a message to learn when the change is going to happen, it's affect, and how to prepare for it.

Translate a service health explanation into my language

Details of a service event are only in English. Here's how to get a translation.

  1. Go to Translator.

  2. On the Service health page, select an icon that indicates a service incident. Under Details, copy the text about the incident.

  3. In Translator, paste the text and choose Translate.
