Some email programs, such as Microsoft Outlook for Windows, include a spelling checker. To check your spelling in Outlook.com and Outlook on the web, however, you'll need to use your web browser. That’s why you don’t see a spelling checker button or spelling settings in Outlook.com or Outlook on the web.
Spell checking is available in Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 10 and later versions, and current versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Check the options for your web browser to learn more about how to check spelling.
