Group shapes when you have multiple shapes that you want to treat as a unit. When you’re working with multiple pictures, group them to make it easier to position and format them. If you have grouped shapes or pictures and need to change or rearrange items in the group, it’s sometimes easiest to ungroup items and then regroup.
