Flow integration for Outlook Customer Manager

Microsoft Flow lets you create automated workflows between your favorite apps and services. It is part of your Office 365 subscription. Outlook Customer Manager is one of the apps you can connect to others.

If, for example, you manage a SharePoint list with your contacts, companies and deals, you may want to see them in your Outlook Customer Manager and don't want to have to enter them a second time. With Flow, every time you update that list, you can also create a contact, company or deal in Outlook Customer Manager.

Create a business contact with Flow

If you create a contact in another system, you can keep Outlook Customer Manager synchronized by using Flow to create a contact there as well. 

  1. In Flow, select the service that creates a contact.

  2. Add a new action and select Outlook Customer Manager.

   3.  Select create contact, and prefill the form with the information coming from the other service.

Create a company or deal with Flow

If you create a company or deal in another system, you can keep Outlook Customer Manager synchronized by using Flow to create a company or deal there as well. 

  1. In Flow, select the service that creates a company.

  2. Add a new action and select Outlook Customer Manager.

  3. Select create company or create a deal and prefill the form with the information coming from the other service. You can also add links to contacts here.

Create an activity with Flow

If you create add an invoice or note associated to a contact, company or deal in another system, you can keep Outlook Customer Manager synchronized by using Flow to create an activity associated to your contact, company or deal.

  1. In Flow, select the service where the activity happens.

  2. Add a new action and select Outlook Customer Manager.

  3. Select create activity and prefill the form with the information coming from the other service. Make sure you link to a contact, company or deal. You can further configure what color the item should look like in the timeline.

Once the Flow runs, it shows up automatically on the contacts timeline
