What do you want to do?
When I make a Lync call does it use my mobile minutes?
When you make or receive a call using Lync for the iPad, it uses your mobile phone minutes. The calls are not Voice over IP (VoIP) calls. The My Mobile Number that you specify during your first sign-in is used to set up outgoing work calls. When you make a work call, the call is routed to Lync Server 2010, which calls you back at your mobile phone number. After you answer the call, the call is placed to the call recipient.
Note When you make or receive a Lync call from the iPad, the call goes to the mobile phone number you entered for My Mobile Number.
What is My Mobile Number?
The first time you sign in to Lync on your iPad you are guided through adding your mobile phone number, which is the My Mobile Number. By adding your mobile phone number, you can use your mobile phone to join Lync conferences.

Note To make changes your mobile phone number after you first sign in, tap My Info, tap Option, and select the option you’d like to change. For more information about forwarding and simultaneous ring options see, Call forward and simultaneous ring.

Make sure that the phone number that Lync is trying to call you at is a valid number, for example: +1 (425) 555-0100.
I can’t see what’s being shared in the meeting
When you join a scheduled meeting from the iPad, you can only see PowerPoint slides, if they are being shown in the meeting. If someone is sharing anything else you won’t be able to see it, for example, desktop sharing, sharing a whiteboard, or poll slide. This is by design.
Important You will only see PowerPoint slides in a scheduled meeting. If you’re in an ad-hoc Meet Now meeting, you will not see anything that is being shared including PowerPoint slides.
I don’t see all my conversations history on my mobile device
The conversations history on Lync for the iPad is not synced with Microsoft Exchange. When you delete a conversation on your mobile phone, it’s permanently deleted.
